Something to chew on....
If the dork 'client' can afford it, you might be able to recover more than the
animation was worth!
Not only did he steal it, but it was a 'rough' work, never intended to be
aired. Since some of those in the trade know who's work it is, he has damaged
you reputation, and possibly lost you further business!
Additionally, he would have to pay your legal expenses if you won...
While it's probably not 'actually' woth much trouble, a little phone call from
your lawyer would probably be all the 'moral persausion' this turkey would
need to send you a little 'settle-out-of-court' money...
In my own limited experience anyway, you CAN beat City Hall, if you don't
